Into the woods | Conceptual Photoshooting in Agiasos

Back in December 2022, we carried out a conceptual photoshoot in the magical chestnut forest of Agiasos, a place steeped in natural beauty and quiet mysticism. Within this serene landscape, we photographed the Lesvos Bench and a Koukoutsi eco material tabletop, capturing the interplay between design and nature.

The forest’s winter atmosphere — with its soft light, damp earth, and towering chestnut trees — offered the perfect stage for showcasing the organic forms and raw textures of our pieces. More than just a setting, the forest became a silent participant, echoing the values at the heart of Koukoutsi: sustainability, locality, and harmony with the natural world.

This shoot remains one of our most poetic and grounded moments, reflecting the deep connection between our materials and the island that inspires them.
